The fully portable LED NightSearcher SportStar rechargeable floodlight is perfect for use on sports pitches, construction sites and in the rail and emergency services. Approx. eight of these units will illuminate a surface area of 60x40m (a standard size of a sports training pitch/approx half a football pitch).
Easy To Assemble
The major benefit of this unit is the fact it is highly convenient and can be set up in little time (under 2 minutes), providing high quality light in areas which are usually awkward to illuminate. The SportStar offers silent operation and will not emit any pollution, offering cool running and glare free operation to boot.
Excellent Light Output
The SportStar uses a state of the art LED, energy efficient head to produce a light output of 20,000 lumens (up from the standard LED MegaStar). The floodlight has 4 different settings offering 20,000 lumens on the highest down to 2000 lumen output on the lowest. The LEDs in the head will last for over 40,000 hours.
Robust Head
The unit is made from tough, impact resistant ABS plastic casing with the LEDs protected with a polycarbonate lens. The head is adjustable to give the best spread of light for your application and also comes with lifetime guarantee from NightSearcher.
Extendable Tripod With Lightweight Powerpack
The robust, lightweight aluminium tripod extends to 3.5 metres while the soft close feature provides a safer way to lower the tripod. The tripod carries the lightweight powerpack. The included lithium-ion battery cannot be overcharged (no memory effect) and has a longer life span than older versions of the LED MegaStar which use the lead acid batteries.
The SportStar can be used outdoors in rain or shine, however must be charged indoors away from water.
Included in the kit is the light head, extendable soft-close tripod, battery pack, carry case, ground pegs and intelligent mains charger. The aluminium tripod is extendable from 1 metre to 3.5 metres.
Comes complete with tripod pegs to stabilise the tripod into grass.
