The fully portable LED NightSearcher Megastar rechargeable floodlight is perfect for use on sports pitches, construction sites and in the rail and emergency services. Approx. eight of these units will illuminate a surface area of 60x40m (a standard size of a sports training pitch).
Easy To Assemble
The major benefit of this unit is the fact it is highly convenient and can be set up in little time, providing high quality light in areas which are usually awkward to illuminate. The Megastar offers silent operation and will not emit any pollution, offering cool running and glare free operation to boot.
Excellent Light Output
The Megastar uses a state of the art LED, energy efficient head to produce a light output of 20,000 lumens, equivalent to that of over 1000W tungsten halogen light. The floodlight has 4 different settings offering 20,000 lumens on the highest down to 2000 lumen output on the lowest. The LEDs in the head will last for over 40,000 hours.
Robust Head
The unit is made from tough, impact resistant ABS plastic casing with the LEDs protected with a polycarbonate lens. The head is adjustable to give the best spread of light for your application and also comes with lifetime guarantee from NightSearcher.
Extendable Tripod With Tough Powerpack
The robust, lightweight aluminium tripod has double extending safety locking sections, that can be secondarily locked using the attached safety pins. The tripod locks into the powerpack utilising the weight of the powerpack to give stability to the light and tripod. The power pack is also constructed from virtually indestructible polyethylene plastic. The included battery cannot be overcharged (no memory effect).
The MegaStar can be used outdoors in rain or shine, however must be charged indoors away from water.
Included in the kit is the light head, extendable tripod, battery pack and intelligent mains charger. The aluminium tripod is extendable from 1.5 metres to 3.5 metres and includes a safety locking pin.
