The Fenix BC28R set pairs a 2500-lumen rechargeable front light with a smart rear light, giving riders a coordinated lighting system for commuting, road cycling and darker rural routes. Smart Front And Rear Control
The front and rear lights can be linked so that the tail light is managed as part of one system. Its operating status is shown on the front light, reducing the need to stop and look behind the bike. This makes it easier to confirm that both ends of the bike remain illuminated during a ride.
Powerful Light With A Controlled Cut-Off
The front unit reaches 180 metres on turbo and uses an anti-glare cut-off beam to direct more light towards the route rather than into the eyes of approaching road users. High and medium suit dark roads and faster riding, while the 50-lumen low mode extends the quoted run time to 52 hours for slower travel or use in illuminated areas.
Replaceable Front Battery
The front light uses an included Fenix ARB-L21-5000 V2.0 rechargeable battery. It can be charged through USB-C inside the light or replaced with a compatible charged battery when a longer journey demands more capacity. The rear unit has its own built-in 400mAh battery, and both lights support charging through USB-C.
Secure, Weather-Ready Mounting
Separate front and rear mounts keep the lights securely positioned while allowing them to be removed for charging or storage. IP66 protection and 1.5m impact resistance make the set suitable for regular riding in changing weather and on rougher surfaces.
