Yuasa ENL Range
Yuasa ENL batteries provide long-life AGM lead acid power for compatible UPS, telecoms, emergency lighting, fire and security systems. With a 15-year Yuasa design life at 20°C and a EUROBAT classification of Very Long Life: 12+ years, this range is suited to installations where dependable standby power and reducing replacement work are priorities. These are manufacturer life classifications rather than warranty periods; operating temperature, charging and maintenance affect service life.
Long-Life Standby Power
Choose ENL when your equipment specifies this range and longer float or standby service is valuable. The range supports larger industrial systems with a choice of 2V, 4V, 6V and 12V batteries. AGM construction holds the electrolyte in a glass mat separator, and gas recombination reduces water loss. No water topping up is required, although batteries still need appropriate charging, inspection and testing.
Choosing The Right Capacity And Connections
The listed 20-hour capacities run from 108Ah to 518.4Ah. Model names such as ENL100 and ENL320 relate to different discharge-rate ratings, so compare the published capacity, voltage, dimensions and terminals rather than relying on the model number alone. Each product includes its model-specific Yuasa datasheet. Match the battery and any series or parallel arrangement to the equipment manufacturer’s requirements.
Front-Terminal Access And Flame Retardant Cases
The ENL100-12 front-terminal battery, also listed as ENL100-12FT, places its connections at the front for easier installation and maintenance in compatible racks and cabinets. Other ENL models use their specified male or female threaded terminal arrangements. All six models listed here have UL94:V0 flame retardant ABS cases, making them relevant where this case specification is required.
