Adaptive Light Beam automatically adjusts the beam as your surroundings change. It is useful when alternating between something in your hands and something further away.
Manual focus lets you choose a broad nearby beam or a more concentrated spot. Digital focusing gives selected H/HF models manual control alongside their adaptive setting.
Choose P Series Pro for natural white light, additional protective features and a charging station. Choose H/HF Pro when included professional mounting equipment matters.
Pro does not mean every feature is the same across every range. Check the specific model rather than treating the badge as a reason to upgrade.
A separate red setting can be useful around camp or while reading nearby items in low light. Keep the brightness low and consider other people around you.
Full RGB adds green and blue options. Choose it for a specific use, not simply because it has more settings. Standard white light remains the main working beam.
Rechargeable models suit regular use. Dual Power models add compatibility with specified disposable batteries, which can be useful away from charging facilities.
A replaceable rechargeable pack is not the same as disposable-battery compatibility. Check the approved battery types and expect performance to differ with backup batteries.
The headline brightness is only one part of how a torch feels in use.
Lumens describe total light output. Beam distance describes the reach of the focused beam under a test method. A wide, bright flood can have a shorter quoted distance than a narrower beam.
For working nearby, useful spread matters. For checking something across a field, beam distance deserves more attention.
Do not pair the highest lumen figure with the longest runtime. For example, H9R has 2000-lumen Boost, while its quoted Power setting is 1000 lumens with a three-hour runtime.
For a long evening or shift, read the Power and Mid settings on the product page and allow a sensible reserve.
A light that feels right is more likely to get used. Compare the complete weight, battery position and mounting options, not just the lamp head.
IP ratings describe specified water and dust protection. They are not diving approval or ATEX certification, and charging covers and seals still need correct use.
P7R, P7R Core and the newer P7R are not interchangeable specifications. The same care is needed when comparing old and new H or HF models.

No. Boost is a short-duration maximum where fitted, and the longest published runtime is normally associated with a low-output setting. Use the mode-by-mode table to compare the brightness and runtime together. Actual performance depends on conditions and battery state.
A head torch keeps your hands free, but comfort, stability, weight, useful beam spread and runtime all matter. This finder can suggest compact new H/HF options; it is not an exhaustive running-range comparison.
