The Fenix HL32R-T is a lightweight rechargeable head torch designed for trail running, fast hiking and other activities where secure fit, low weight and responsive lighting matter. Its 800-lumen spotlight reaches 132m to reveal the route further ahead, while the separate neutral-white floodlight provides a broad, comfortable view of the ground nearby. The complete head torch weighs only 107g including its battery and headband.

Two Beams For Changing Terrain
The cool-white spotlight concentrates the beam further along the trail, helping runners identify turns, obstacles and changes in terrain earlier. The neutral-white floodlight spreads softer light across the ground immediately ahead, providing a more comfortable view for climbs, slower sections, walking and checking equipment.
Each beam has its own switch, making it easy to move between distance and close-range lighting without cycling through unrelated settings. The spotlight and floodlight operate separately and cannot be used together.
Brightness That Responds To Your Pace
A built-in frequency sensor responds when the wearer is running at between 150 and 220 strides per minute. As the running pace rises or falls, the head torch gradually adjusts its brightness to provide more reach at higher speeds and conserve energy when the pace eases. This reduces the need to keep changing output manually during a run.
Secure Adjustment While Moving
The wide reflective headband spreads the load across a larger area for a stable, comfortable fit. Its BOA-style rotary adjuster allows the tension to be fine-tuned with a simple twist, making adjustments quick even while wearing gloves or moving. Reflective detailing improves side visibility, and the headband can be removed for cleaning.
Rechargeable Power With An AAA Backup
The supplied Fenix ARB-LP1900 1900mAh Li-poly battery recharges inside the head torch through USB-C in approximately three hours. Its removable design allows it to be exchanged for a charged spare during longer events. When access to charging is limited, the HL32R-T can also operate from three AAA alkaline or Ni-MH batteries.
The lowest output from either beam can be used while the head torch is charging, which is useful during extended events when connected to a suitable power bank. AAA batteries must not be charged inside the head torch, and 10440 Li-ion batteries must not be used.
Lightweight Protection For Outdoor Use
The magnesium-alloy housing keeps the head unit light while transferring heat away from the LEDs during extended use. IP66 protection resists heavy rain and dust, while 2m impact resistance helps the head torch withstand demanding outdoor conditions. A lockout prevents accidental activation during transport, and the operating range of -35°C to 45°C supports use across changing seasons and environments.
