The Fenix HM62-T is a lightweight rechargeable head torch developed for trail running, hiking and other activities where a secure fit, long runtime and simple one-handed control matter. The HM62-T’s 1200-lumen turbo mode provides the reach needed to identify turns, obstacles and changes in terrain further along an unlit route. High and medium provide more sustainable illumination for regular running, while the 5-lumen low setting is useful for climbs, map reading and sections where less light is required.
The Luminus SST40 LED produces a neutral-white beam with a colour temperature of approximately 4500–5000K. This warmer tone provides natural-looking illumination and helps reveal surface detail in rain, mist and other difficult outdoor conditions.
Secure One-Handed Headband Adjustment
Fenix’s two-way SPORT headband uses a rotary dial that can be tightened or loosened with one hand. This makes it easier to adjust the fit while moving, wearing gloves or changing between a bare head, cap and other headwear.
The breathable headband includes reflective detailing to improve visibility from the side. An integrated low-profile whistle provides a simple way to attract attention during an emergency without adding another loose item to the wearer’s equipment.
Red Light With Direct Access
Double-clicking the switch while the lamp is off activates the red-light group directly. The 5-lumen constant mode provides enough illumination for checking equipment, reading a map or moving around a checkpoint without producing the glare of the main beam.
Red flash can be used as a visibility signal when running near other people or waiting beside a route. Keeping the red functions separate from the normal white-light sequence also prevents them from interrupting regular brightness changes.
Rechargeable And Replaceable Battery
The HM62-T is supplied with a removable Fenix ARB-L18-3400U V2.0 18650 battery. The USB-C charging port is built into the battery itself, so the battery is removed from the lamp and connected directly to the supplied cable. A full charge takes approximately three hours with a suitable 5V/2A power supply.
The replaceable design allows a compatible charged spare to be carried for overnight events, long shifts and extended trips. Two CR123A lithium batteries can also be used as an emergency alternative. CR123A batteries are not rechargeable and must never be connected to a charger.
A four-stage indicator reports the remaining battery level when a compatible Fenix ARB-L18 series battery is fitted. Low-voltage protection gradually reduces the output as the battery becomes depleted and provides a repeated warning on the lowest white setting.

A large side-mounted switch provides straightforward control while wearing gloves. White light can be activated with a press and hold, while a double-click from off opens the red-light group. The electronic lockout helps prevent accidental activation while the HM62-T is stored in a bag.
Intelligent overheat protection reduces the output if the lamp becomes too hot during prolonged high-power use, then allows it to recover as the temperature falls. The lamp can also be tilted within its bracket so the beam can be directed towards the ground or raised further along the route.
