Long-Range Spotlight And Wide Floodlight
The 4500K neutral-white spotlight produces a concentrated beam reaching up to 440 metres. This makes it particularly useful for route finding, searching open ground, inspecting distant structures and identifying potential hazards before reaching them.
The two 3000K warm-white floodlight LEDs provide a broad spread of light for working, walking and navigating at close to medium range. The warmer beam improves the visibility of surface detail and can be more effective in rain, mist and haze than a harsh cool-white light.
Both beams can be operated together when maximum coverage is required. Combined Turbo provides 4000 lumens and a 450-metre beam, illuminating the surrounding area while retaining the long-range visibility of the spotlight.
Simple Rotary And Push-Button Controls
A rotary switch selects the spotlight, floodlight or combined lighting mode, while the central push button cycles through the four available brightness levels. Separating beam selection from brightness control makes it easier to choose the appropriate lighting pattern without repeatedly cycling through unwanted modes.
An intelligent memory circuit records the previously selected output within each lighting mode. When that mode is selected again, the HP35R returns to the brightness level used previously.
Intelligent Proximity Protection
The HP35R detects when its lamp head is approximately 60mm from an illuminated object and automatically reduces the brightness to its lowest level. This limits reflected glare and helps prevent excessive heat when examining maps, equipment or surfaces at close range.
Once the headlamp is moved away from the object, it returns to the previously selected output. The proximity-sensing function can also be disabled when it is unsuitable for the task being performed.
Quick-Release Remote Battery Pack
The included 10,000mAh battery pack provides the capacity needed for long working periods and extended outdoor use. It can be worn at the rear of the headband to balance the lamp or removed and carried in a pocket or bag using the supplied extension cable.
Moving the battery away from the head reduces the weight being carried on the headband, improving comfort during prolonged use. Keeping the battery beneath clothing can also help protect it from low temperatures and reduce the effect cold weather may have on its performance.
A rear-facing red safety light is built into the battery case. Constant and flashing settings help make the wearer more visible from behind when walking near roads, working around vehicles or moving as part of a group.
Fast Charging And Power Bank Function
The battery pack supports USB-C PD fast charging and can be fully charged in approximately two hours using a suitable power supply. Its charging connection is positioned inside the battery case, providing additional protection from water, dust and accidental damage.
The battery pack can also operate as a power bank with an output of up to 20W, allowing compatible phones and other USB-powered equipment to be recharged away from mains electricity. The headlamp can continue operating while the battery is being charged or supplying power to another device.
Comfortable Head-Worn Design
This standard version of the HP35R is supplied with adjustable black headbands designed for conventional head-worn use. The battery pack sits at the rear to distribute its weight more evenly, while the overhead strap provides additional stability during movement.
The headlamp can also be fitted to compatible hard hats and caving helmets using two separately available Fenix ALG-03 V2.0 helmet mounts. Customers primarily requiring a dedicated helmet-mounted system may prefer the HP35R SAR version.
