The Fenix PD36 Tac is designed for users who want a genuinely mechanical tactical interface rather than a conventional general-purpose mode system. A rotary collar changes between Tactical, Duty and Lockout positions, allowing security and professional users to select a simplified high-output setup or retain the complete brightness range before the torch is needed.

Duty mode restores the full range for inspection, patrols and routine work, while the mechanical Lockout position prevents accidental operation during transport.
The dual-function tail switch supports fast, one-handed use and remains mechanically dependable. The included Fenix ARB-L21-5000U battery has a built-in USB-C charging port, allowing it to be recharged directly after being removed from the torch.
