In Stock ✓ Product Code (SKU): WH23R
- Category: Fenix Head Torches
The Fenix WH23R is a 600-lumen rechargeable work head torch built for jobs where both hands need to stay on the task. Its separate spotlight and floodlight cover everything from inspecting equipment at close range to lighting a route ahead, while the front-facing gesture sensor lets the selected beam be switched on or off without touching the lamp.
Output, Beam Distance & Run Time
| Mode | Setting | Output | Beam Distance | Run Time |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Spotlight | High | 300 lumens | 84m | 6 hrs 19 mins |
| Spotlight | Medium | 120 lumens | 53m | 9 hrs 32 mins |
| Spotlight | Low | 30 lumens | 26m | 35 hrs 57 mins |
| Floodlight | High | 300 lumens | 35m | 6 hrs 13 mins |
| Floodlight | Medium | 70 lumens | 17m | 15 hrs 36 mins |
| Floodlight | Low | 5 lumens | 5m | 150 hrs |
| Spotlight and floodlight | Turbo | 600 lumens | – | 3 hrs 49 mins |
Run times are the total measured time at a constant setting. Output may reduce automatically as the light manages heat and battery use.
Gesture Control for Hands-Busy Work
When the gesture sensor is enabled, waving a hand within approximately 10cm of the front of the lamp switches the current light on or off. This is particularly useful when wearing gloves or when hands are wet, dirty or occupied with tools. The gesture does not cycle brightness levels, so the chosen beam and output remain ready when the light is switched back on.
The blue indicator shows when gesture control is active. Holding the central button for 1.2 seconds enables or disables the sensor, and the WH23R remembers that choice when it is switched on again. Disabling the sensor can prevent accidental activation when working close to objects or in confined spaces. After switching the light off by gesture, turn the rotary switch fully off when work is finished to avoid unnecessary standby battery drain.
Spotlight, Floodlight or Both
The glove-friendly rotary switch selects the spotlight, floodlight or combined mode. The spotlight reaches up to 84m for route finding and checking equipment further away, while the smooth 100-degree flood beam spreads light evenly across a work area without a harsh central hotspot. In spotlight or floodlight mode, the central button cycles through three brightness levels. Combined mode brings both beams together for the maximum 600-lumen output.
Output memory recalls the last brightness used in the spotlight and floodlight modes. The lamp also tilts through 60 degrees, helping direct the beam down towards a bench or floor without forcing the wearer into an awkward position.
Rechargeable Power for the Working Day
The built-in 2000mAh lithium-polymer battery charges through USB-C in approximately 1.5 hours. A four-level indicator shows the remaining charge and charging progress, making it easier to check that the light is ready before a shift. The lowest output can also be used while charging when continuous close-range light is needed.
