The HF8R Core RGB is a high power, outdoor, rechargeable head torch offering up to 900 lumens on power mode with a beam of up to 210 metres. The innovative optics, adjustable head and multiple light sources offer perfect illumination, both near and far, in every situation. (Boost mode can be activated when more light is needed, offering 1600 lumens for a short time). The easy-to-use focus wheel can be used to focus manually if needed.
This head torch dims and focuses automatically, so that the light is adapted to changing environments and obstacles; from uneven forest ground and wet sidewalks to narrow machine compartments. The system detects reflections as well as overall light conditions and controls all light sources separately. This does not only result in an ideal illumination and focusing, but it also enables completely hands-free use.
This head torch offers a 3.5 hour running time on its power setting, making it ideal for long activities in the great outdoors. Comes with secondary red, green and blue front lights. Red is ideal for preserving night vision (for map reading and more). Green is for hunting at night and fog, while the blue is for night fishing, map reading, forensics and police work.
The low battery warning prevents you from running out of battery without knowing it - making sure you won't be left in the dark and is charged easily via the magnetic charging cable. The battery can be charged inside the unit, eliminating the need to remove the battery to charge it.
The transportation lock also ensures that the light isn't switched on by accident when in a bag or in storage. This model also removable overhead strap for extra stability when wearing.
The robust aluminium alloy housing means that the head torch is robust for all conditions and is drop tested to 2 metres with an IP68 rating - meaning it can be submerged in water. Working temperature range of -20º to +40ºC. The head bands are highly comfortable and are also detachable and washable.
