The HiSpec HSSA/HE/FF10 provides fixed-temperature heat detection using mains power with a rechargeable lithium backup battery designed for 10 year life. Its Fast Fix base allows the wiring to be completed before the alarm head is fitted, making it practical for new installations and refurbishment.
Heat detection responds to a fixed temperature of 60°C, making it useful in suitable kitchens and other locations where normal fumes can cause unwanted smoke-alarm activations. Follow the model’s siting instructions; a heat alarm is not a substitute for smoke detection elsewhere in the property.
The long-life backup battery reduces routine battery replacement, while the test and hush controls support regular checks. This is a mains alarm: the battery provides backup during loss of mains power, rather than ten years of standalone operation.

Build A Compatible Wired System
Choose smoke, heat and CO alarms from the compatible Fast Fix range below. A qualified electrician links them using the wired interconnect so that activation of one alarm gives a warning across the connected system. These FF and FF10 models do not have built-in RF10-PRO wireless linking.
