This is a mains powered, heat alarm which comes complete with a 9V battery back up.
Heat alarms are designed to detect a sudden rise in temperature and fast flaming fires which are commonly associated with kitchens or garages. Comes complete with thermistor sensor which reacts to the rate of temperature rise rather than smoke, making it more resistant to false alarm fumes (such as toast).
Comes complete with a fix-first base so that wiring can be completed at the early stages of a new build or refurb.
