Designed for kitchens, garages and other areas where cooking fumes or dust could trigger a smoke alarm, the Hispec HSSA/HE/FF responds to heat rather than smoke. It runs from the mains and includes a replaceable 9V backup battery, so the alarm can continue operating during a power cut.
The Fast Fix base lets an electrician complete the wiring before fitting the alarm head. Link it by wire with compatible Hispec alarms so an activation can be heard elsewhere in the property. The built-in test and hush function makes routine checks straightforward.
