The H9R is a powerful, everyday rechargeable head torch offering a 1000 lumen output on the power setting with a 240 metre beam distance. (Boost mode can be activated when the most light is needed, offering 2000 lumens for a short time when you need it most). Features stepless dimming function and additional red, green and blue lights if required. Red is to preserve night vision, green is for hunting at night and fog, while the blue is for night fishing, map reading, forensics and police work.
The high power LEDs with recalibrated reflector lens offer optimised illumination, while the advanced focus system uses a patented reflector and lens combination for intense spot or flawless flood illumination. The Adaptive Light Beam mode automatically adjusts brightness and focus for hands free operation if required. For more manual control, the enhanced Digital Advanced Focus System allows seamless switching from flood to spot beam by simply turning the digital focus ring, adapting easily to any range or task.
The elasticated headband strap can be removed and washed if required and is made from anti-microbial material to help inhibit the growth of harmful micro-organisms.
Easy one-handed use is possible with a front push button and dimming wheel, while the low battery indicator lets you know when a battery charge is needed. The transportation lock also ensures that the light isn't switched on by accident when in a bag or in storage. The charge indicator lets you know when the charge is complete and the head torch will give warning before the battery runs out (can also be used whilst on charge).
Optional red rear light can be switched on when extra visibility is required from the rear.
