The Fenix ARE-X1 V2.0 is a compact single-bay charger that also turns a charged compatible battery into an emergency USB power bank. It suits users who want one lightweight accessory for charging spare Fenix batteries at home or while travelling, with the added ability to provide backup power to a small USB device.
Charge Spare Batteries Outside The Light
The charger accepts one compatible 18650, 21700 or 26650 Li-ion battery and is powered through its USB-C input. Charging outside the light allows another battery to remain in use, which is helpful for shift work, camping and other situations where lighting downtime is inconvenient.
Emergency USB Power Bank Function
With a charged compatible battery installed, the USB output can provide up to 5V/1A to another device. This is useful for emergency top-ups of smaller electronics, although it is not intended to replace a high-output fast-charging power bank.
Clear Status Indication
The LED shows charging, discharging and battery status. It displays red while the inserted battery is charging and green when charging is complete. During battery-level detection, green indicates sufficient capacity for powering another device and red indicates a critically low level.
Multiple Protection Systems
Built-in safeguards include short-circuit, over-current, over-voltage, overcharging and reverse-polarity protection. Batteries should still be inspected before charging and the charger placed on a suitable non-flammable surface.
