Yuasa ENL100-12 Front Terminal Battery (12V 108Ah)
In Stock ✓ Product Code (SKU): ENL100-12FT
- Category: Yuasa ENL Range
The Yuasa ENL100-12 is a 12V AGM valve regulated lead acid battery with a rated 20-hour capacity of 108Ah. Its 15-year design life at 20°C makes the ENL range a strong choice for compatible industrial standby installations where dependable backup power and reducing battery replacement work matter. This front-terminal model suits compatible telecoms racks and cabinets.
Battery Performance
| Nominal Voltage | 12 V |
|---|---|
| Rated Capacity (20-Hour Rate) | 108 Ah |
| Rated Capacity (10-Hour Rate) | 100 Ah |
| Yuasa Design Life At 20°C | 15 years |
| EUROBAT Classification | Very long life: 12+ years |
| Intended Use | Long-term standby and float service |
Capacity figures depend on the discharge rate and cut-off voltage. The 20-hour capacity is measured to 1.75V per cell at 20°C; the 10-hour capacity is measured to 1.8V per cell at 20°C.
Why Choose The ENL Range?
ENL offers a longer design life than Yuasa’s general purpose NP and long-life NPL ranges, making it particularly useful where access is difficult or battery replacement involves significant work. Choose it when your equipment calls for this battery specification and extended standby service is the priority. The 15-year figure is a manufacturer design-life rating at 20°C, rather than a warranty or a guaranteed replacement interval.
AGM Construction And A Flame Retardant Case
The absorbent glass mat construction holds the electrolyte within the battery, while the valve regulated design reduces routine maintenance. No water topping up is required, although inspection, testing and correct charging remain important. This model has an ABS case rated UL94:V0. Choose this flame retardant construction when your installation specifies it; it provides a higher flame-resistance classification than standard UL94:HB ABS, without changing the need to match the electrical specification.
Front Terminals For Easier Access
The ENL100-12 front-terminal version, also listed as ENL100-12FT, positions its connections at the front of the case. This can make installation, inspection and maintenance easier in compatible battery racks or cabinets where access to the top or rear is restricted. Check the rack dimensions and connection arrangement before ordering.
Choosing And Installing The Correct Battery
Check your equipment’s required voltage, capacity, dimensions, polarity and connections. This model uses M6 female threaded terminals. Use an AGM VRLA charging system that follows the limits in the datasheet. Yuasa permits installation up to 90° from upright; provide appropriate ventilation and do not install in a sealed container.
Included In The Box
1 × Yuasa ENL100-12 battery.
