Yuasa NP7-12LFR Battery (12V 7Ah)
In Stock ✓ Product Code (SKU): NP7-12LFR
- Category: Yuasa NP Series
The Yuasa NP7-12LFR is a 12V 7Ah rechargeable AGM lead acid battery for dependable standby power in compatible emergency lighting, fire and security systems, and UPS equipment.
Battery Performance
| Nominal Voltage | 12 V |
|---|---|
| Rated Capacity (20-Hour Rate) | 7 Ah |
| Applications | Standby and light cyclic use |
Reliable Standby Power
The valve regulated design uses an absorbent glass mat separator to hold the electrolyte and gas recombination to reduce water loss. No topping up is required; regular inspection and testing are still needed.
Why Choose The LFR Version?
Choose the L version when your equipment uses 6.35mm push-on connectors. Its wider Faston terminals fit those connectors, while the standard NP7-12 uses 4.75mm terminals. Both are 12V 7Ah batteries, so the reason to choose L is the correct connector fit.
Choose the FR version when your equipment manufacturer or installation specification calls for a flame retardant battery case. Its ABS housing is rated UL94:V0, providing greater resistance to flame propagation than the standard UL94:HB ABS case. The benefit is the case material; voltage, capacity, dimensions and terminals still need to match your equipment.
Choosing The Correct Battery
Match the voltage, capacity, dimensions, terminal type and polarity to your equipment before ordering. This model has Faston - 6.35mm terminals and a flame retardant ABS case. Use a charger or charging circuit suitable for AGM VRLA batteries.
Design Life And Installation
Yuasa specifies a design life of up to five years at 20°C, with a EUROBAT classification of three to five years. This is a design-life rating, not a warranty. Install upright or on its side, up to 90° from upright, in a suitably ventilated location.
