In Stock ✓ Product Code (SKU): NPC100-12
- Category: Yuasa NPC Range
The Yuasa NPC100-12 is a 12V rechargeable AGM lead acid battery with a rated 20-hour capacity of 99.2Ah. Designed for equipment that regularly discharges and recharges its batteries, the NPC range suits compatible mobility, golf and renewable energy applications.
Battery Performance
| Nominal Voltage | 12 V |
|---|---|
| Manufacturer Model Rating | 100 Ah |
| Rated Capacity (20-Hour Rate) | 99.2 Ah |
| Applications | Regular cyclic discharge and recharge |
| Published Range Cycle-Life Rating | Up to 500 cycles at 75% depth of discharge |
Yuasa publishes a range cycle-life rating of up to 500 charge and discharge cycles at 75% depth of discharge. Actual service life depends on discharge depth, charging, temperature and operating conditions.
Why Choose The NPC Range?
Choose NPC when regular battery use is part of normal operation. Its cyclic construction, deep discharge recovery and durable separator system support repeated discharge and recharge, providing a practical choice for compatible equipment that needs more than occasional standby power. Match the battery to the equipment manufacturer's specification.
AGM Construction For Low Maintenance
The absorbent glass mat separator holds the electrolyte, while the valve regulated design uses gas recombination to reduce water loss. No water topping up is required, although regular inspection, testing and correct charging remain important.
Choosing The Correct Battery
Match the voltage, capacity, dimensions, terminal type and polarity to your equipment before ordering. This model uses M8 female threaded terminals. Use a charging circuit suitable for AGM VRLA batteries and follow the manufacturer's charging limits in the datasheet.
Design Life And Installation
Yuasa specifies a design life of up to five years at 20°C. This is a design-life rating, not a warranty or a promise of five years in cyclic service. Install upright or on its side, up to 90° from upright, in a suitably ventilated location.
Included In The Box
1 × Yuasa NPC100-12 battery.
