Yuasa REC22-12I Battery (12V 22Ah) (Box of 4)
In Stock ✓ Product Code (SKU): REC22-12I/4
- Category: Yuasa REC Range
The Yuasa REC22-12I is a 12V 22Ah rechargeable AGM lead acid battery from the premium REC cyclic range. Designed for equipment that regularly discharges and recharges its batteries, it is suitable for compatible mobility, golf and renewable energy applications. Supplied as a full box of 4 batteries.
Battery Performance
| Nominal Voltage | 12 V |
|---|---|
| Rated Capacity (20-Hour Rate) | 22 Ah |
| Applications | Repeated cyclic discharge and recharge |
| Cycle Life At 100% Depth Of Discharge | 300 cycles |
| Cycle Life At 75% Depth Of Discharge | 500 cycles |
| Cycle Life At 50% Depth Of Discharge | 600 cycles |
| Cycle Life At 25% Depth Of Discharge | 1,400 cycles |
Yuasa's cycle-life figures are measured until remaining capacity falls to 80% of the original capacity. Actual service life depends on discharge depth, charging, temperature and operating conditions; shallower discharges allow more cycles.
Why Choose The REC Range?
Choose REC when repeated battery use is part of normal operation. Its cyclic construction and enhanced recovery from deep discharge support regular discharge and recharge, making it a useful choice over a general purpose standby battery where cycling performance matters. Check that your equipment specifies an AGM VRLA cyclic battery of this size and rating.
AGM Construction For Low Maintenance
The absorbent glass mat separator holds the electrolyte, while the valve regulated design uses gas recombination to reduce water loss. No water topping up is required, although regular inspection, testing and correct charging remain important.
Choosing The Correct Battery
Match the voltage, capacity, case dimensions, terminal type and polarity to your equipment before ordering. This model uses M5 female threaded terminals. Use a charging circuit suitable for AGM VRLA batteries and follow the manufacturer's charging limits in the datasheet.
Design Life And Installation
Yuasa specifies a design life of up to 10 years at 20°C. This is a design-life rating, not a warranty or a promise of 10 years in cyclic service. Install upright or on its side, up to 90° from upright, in a suitably ventilated location.
Included In The Box
4 × Yuasa REC22-12I batteries.
