The Pulse optical smoke alarm detects smoke from smouldering fires. Its mains supply is backed by a 10-year rechargeable lithium battery, so protection continues during a power cut.
Why choose Pulse?
The Pulse head is designed to help with retrofit work: on a suitable existing mounting base, an installer may be able to replace the alarm without replacing the base, reducing disruption and unnecessary waste. This HSSA/OP/10 listing is the full unit, supplied with its HiSpec base.
Optical smoke sensing, a hush button for nuisance alarms, loose-neutral monitoring and an 85 dB alert make this a practical choice for domestic smoke detection. Pulse alarms can be hardwire-interconnected with compatible HiSpec devices, or connected wirelessly with the optional RF-PRO module.
Check your existing installation
Ask a qualified installer to confirm the exact base, wiring and interlink arrangement before a retrofit. Fitting onto another manufacturer's base does not establish compatibility with that manufacturer's alarm network. HiSpec's Kitemark testing applies to the complete HiSpec alarm and base only; the Kitemark is no longer valid when this alarm is connected to another manufacturer's base.
