Make compatible HiSpec Pulse alarms work together wirelessly. The RF-PRO module plugs into a Pulse alarm and lets it send alerts to other paired HiSpec RF-PRO alarms, so an alarm sounding in one room can trigger the others across the home.
Why Add The RF-PRO Module?
It lets you build an interconnected smoke, heat and heat/CO alarm system without running a separate interlink cable between alarm positions. This is particularly useful when adding alarms on different floors or upgrading an existing property with less disruption.
Fit one module into each compatible Pulse alarm that you want to connect wirelessly, then pair the alarms using HiSpec's instructions. The module can also communicate with compatible HiSpec alarms that have RF-PRO built in. A network can include up to 20 RF devices; HiSpec quotes a maximum range of 30 m indoors or 80 m in open space, with walls and other obstructions affecting the actual range.
Good to know: This is an add-on module, not an alarm. The Pulse mains alarms still need their mains power connection; wireless refers to the link between alarms. HiSpec advises against also hardwiring the interlink between devices using RF linking. Check and test the completed installation in its final positions.
